I have a new website! That is — Sofi Seck Photography web presence has been completely redesigned. I have to say, I couldn’t be happier with my website makeover.
If computer years are like dog years, then my website was like 1,000 years old. I’ve been really busy with weddings this month and trying to get my new business, Expedition Subsahara, off the ground. So I have no idea what got into me to want to take on a new project. But here we are…
I dedicated the entirety of last week to freshening up the site. It was something that I knew needed to be done, but just wasn’t motivated to do until now. It was really cool and rewarding to go back and look at old photos to restock my digital portfolio. I tried to stick to newer images, otherwise I would be in the same position with outdated photos (even though I love *all* of my clients). I discovered that I really am attached to my clients. It was difficult to narrow down photos and even more difficult to pare it down to what I have up now. I know it will need some fine tuning in the next couple of weeks and months. But for the most part, I think it turned out really well.
SO WHAT’S NEW?
I’ve been so stressed out lately running two businesses and trying to stay on top of things. It was really nice to focus on something that’s part of my business, but that there’s less pressure with. I love that I got to use some of my creative energy to give my entire business a facelift. In fact, surprised myself by using brighter colors than I thought I was going to, but it’s light, cool and fresh. I think it’s a more clear representation of myself and of Sofi Seck Photography as a brand.
And best of all? Fonts are bigger (easier on the eyes!), things are easier to find and it’s more user-friendly on desktop and mobile platforms. Are you curious yet? Well go ahead! Go check it out!
