I LOVE shooting engagement photos. Whether I’m taking photos in Kansas City or St. Louis, I think engagement photos are the best way to get to know me as your wedding photographer before the big day. I tell my couples to think of the engagement shoot as a dress rehearsal. Truth be told, most people feel intimidated in front of the camera. That is the great part about engagement sessions, it allows us to get to know each other. It allows me to get to know you on a deeper level. It allows me to laugh with you, to get you comfortable with my shooting style, and to get you to RELAX in front of the camera. This is a very important part of my wedding photography process. On your wedding day, you can relax, have fun, dance, and be comfortable without worrying about my camera. The session will also allow for the BEST wedding photos and for me to capture the BEST moments. It’s also a great opportunity to do something fun and relaxing in the busy months leading up to the wedding.
